Dr. Deanine Picciano has been a massage therapist since 1994 and studied at the Sarasota School of Massage.  She employs a synthesis of massage techniques for her patients.  Her belief is that a each person benefits from various methods of massage techniques depending on their experience with massage, physical condition and level of pain tolerance.  Her goal is to teach the patient thru treatment how to allow the massage to benefit them the most.  Most people dont realize there are many styles of massage ranging from deep tissue, Neuro muscular therapy, Trager, Shiatsu, deep tissue and swedish style techniques and that each hold a core philosophy.  Each style is important and for a particular condition one may be more beneficial.  Dr. Piccianos goal is to get a patient in touch with their body so that they can be an active part of their healing process.
